Sonserae Cicero
Founder and CEO
Sonserae is a seasoned professional in business relationships, specializing in HR, diversity, and inclusion. With a graduate degree in HR and Labor Relations from the University of New Haven, she has excelled in driving workforce diversity, talent development, and cultural change in large organizations. Her notable work includes improving talent development in companies with portfolios over $100 billion and supporting fair employment for individuals with justice-involved backgrounds. Sonserae has held significant roles, such as the Chair of the Women of Walgreens Boots Alliance in the US, and has been recognized by the NAACP as one of Connecticut’s most influential individuals of color in 2018. Additionally, she received an inspiration award in 2021 for her efforts in the supply chain sector.
Karshyra Marshall
Program Strategy & Business Analytics Manager
Karshyra Marshall is SHEBA’s newest Program Strategy & Business Analytics Manager. Karshyra received her Bachelor’s from Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL (HBCU) before returning to Columbus, Ohio to complete her Master’s from Franklin University’s Healthcare Administration Program. She has over 15 years of healthcare, government, and analytic experience in Pharmacy, Research, Business Intelligence and Customer Service. Karshyra relocated back home to her roots in Hartford, CT in September of 2024 as an added addition to the team, Karshyra is excited to share her expertise with SHEBA as the organization continues to grow and expand across the U.S.
Maurice D. Morgan II
Director of veteran’s initiative and affairs
Maurice D. Morgan II has been with SHEBA Consulting since its inception and takes great pride in his work there. His primary role is to ensure the smooth functioning of operations while also concentrating on the financial aspects of the business. Additionally, he is currently engaged in developing an entertainment maker space, aimed at benefiting the youth and the wider community. Maurice’s diverse background includes experience in the Navy, the automotive industry, music, and sales. He is an avid car enthusiast and also enjoys hunting. Maurice and his team at SHEBA Consulting are dedicated to helping individuals advance their business ambitions and pursue their dreams. They aim to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs and creative thinkers, while also creating new opportunities for communities.
Coby D. Hawkins
PR, Branding and Marketing Coordinator
Coby D. Hawkins received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Southern Connecticut State University in May of 2024, with a concentration of Advertising and Promotions. Coby’s skills include content creation and brand management. In this role, his expertise lies in creating strategic advertising campaigns, and digital marketing solutions. He is also the director of the Youth Empowerment Program. A key aspect of Coby’s life since childhood has been his commitment to paying it forward, particularly to younger generations. He has always been involved in his community, and working at SHEBA has provided him with a platform to become an even greater contributor to it. This role allows him to utilize the skills and knowledge he has acquired through his pursuit of higher education.
